They found a dead hooker chopped up in a dumpster on North 5th and Kent last night and Pilot to Gunner’s Scott Padden is feeling nostaligic.
" This is where the cops used to bust hookers," Padden says, walking up a stretch of Williamsburg blacktop. “And this is the block where I got mugged at knife point. I didn’t have any money so I got away with only a black eye.
“ And that’s where I used to live when I first moved here,” he says, pointing to the skeletal remains of a factory-turned-loft. “One day the people who lived next to us got tied up and robbed by guys with automatic weapons. Once they had them tied up, they changed into furniture-mover disguises and cleaned out their entire apartment.” He shakes his head. “Pretty ballsy, actually.”
