Songs of the Green Pheasant
Aerial Days
Fat Cat

While most odds and sods compilations tend to be a way for the labels and/or artists to squeeze out a dime with sub par tunes, Songs of the Green Pheasant, the brainchild of Sheffield native Duncan Sumpner, still shines in a rather tepid and lustrous form within Aerial Days. Having been praised from the likes of Mum and Devandra Banhart, Aerial Days showcases Sumpner’s free wafting and lightly fuzzy folk ditty style which is rather opulent without coming off as too polished which merges well with his dulcet and half buried vocals most especially with his rendition of the Beatles “Dear Prudence.” - Chris Pacifico (2007, The Daily Copper)
