Just a taste of this Chicago-based outfit’s new full-length March
Into the Sea envelopes the listener in a wave of heaviness that’s
akin to get sucked under arms and legs in a sea of mosh and liking it.
While this brand of noisy minimalism seems to be relatively popular these
days (Pelican goes for a slightly more light-drenched road than some of
its contemporaries) it never hurts to hear it done right - as it is here. |
