Mayday
Bushido Karaoke

Ted Stevens makes his way back to Mayday for album number three, a humorous examination of death, greed, drugs and all the usual other fun stuff. Stevens does a strange channeling of George Thorogood fronting Violent Femmes on “Booze & Pills,” finds time to be himself on “Standing In Line At The Gates Of Hell” and pays tribute to David Dondero on “Dave D. Blues (How to Make it Sting Like a Career)” on this all-too-welcome outing, one that further solidifies Mayday’s role as a great musical gift. – Jedd Beaudoin
