AutoVaugn is a crew of four young guys from
Nashville, TN who have launched an album in Space that is brimming
with anthems strategically (perhaps...) designed to resonate through the
masses.
Space is a ten-volume collection that could rightfully appeal to folks who
claim Interpol is the reason for a new ‘Heaven on Earth’ revival
to the smart working class kids with Doves jammed in their tape decks. Front
man Darren Potuck has a level of conviction and assurance in his vocal delivery
that gives great hope in this band selling out large venues and buzzing themselves
to new levels.
Though not my normal (what is normal?) choice for audio accompaniment, AutoVaugn
has a plethora of defining qualities (crystal clear production leads here -
hear"One Man Lifeboat") that keeps me returning to Space quite often. – Kaleb
Gay (2006, The Daily Copper)
